Closet Cleanse Challenge Day 4 : Putting it all Together

You have envisioned a closet that was carefully curated, calm, streamlined and peaceful. You’ve identified your values and your style, now we get to create around both of those. This is the key to creating style that feels cohesive and confident!

It’s time to take the final step to making that happen. Showcasing your options not only displays what you have, but makes you feel as if you are “shopping” your own closet.

You may find you need an extra day or two to find the right organizational product, or to complete those final steps. Before you consider your project a huge success and call it a day, dig in to complete those final few finishing touches. We promise it's worth it!

You may have uncovered holes in your wardrobe like basic everyday t-shirts or you need to upgrade your underthings. Then again, you also may love the space so much that you aren’t in need of anything at the moment! Either way, at some point you’ll want to purchase a few things and we want you to be set up for success!

When you are ready to add items to your closet, keep in mind your values and the style you want to create daily. Ask yourself, “How is this piece going to fit into MY everyday?"

When we forget these, we end up with a bunch of cute pieces but no idea how to bring them together. This feels overwhelming! For years my shopping motto was - If it’s cute then get it! I didn’t even think about how it would fit into my current style.

When you create style around your values and the style you want, you save time and money because most of what you have will be able to flow & go together. not to mention you’ll feel amazing in every piece you have!

I don’t want to discourage you from having a few creative pieces, but your daily style won’t be a struggle!

This is especially important when you are shopping sales! It’s easy to start justifying when things get cheap! But instead of slipping into that short term happiness high, think about playing the long game with your style! Follow Kylie .

Organizational product is the tool that will keep your categories from bleeding together and the number one way to maximize your space. Bonus, it will give you the boutique feeling that allows you to “shop” your own closet every day.

We’ve gathered our favorite organizational product that we’ve used time and again. All guaranteed to stand the test of time, and of course look beautiful! Utilize the resources below to choose the right organizational product for your space and style.

Our Team Favorites

Once upon a time, closets were simply wire hangers and a shoe bin. Now the options are endless!

But not all options are created equal. See our favorites below.

The Space Savers

Double your storage and display your selection with these shoe stackers.

Layer categories such as shorts, skirts and jeans with a tiered pant hanger.

Maximize space by adding over the door storage behind your door. Store scarves, cover-ups, hats, sunglasses and shoes.

Double your hanging space with super thin velvet hangers. Trust us, its a game changer!

Utilize wall space, side of shelves and even inside shelves with this Acrylic Necklace Wall Rack.

Use an acrylic handbag holder for more then just handbags! Line up flip flops or store clutches in an easy to grab way.

The Essentials

There are a few things every closet should have including proper light, a determined color/style and of course, a ladder.

Chose one style of baskets in various sizes to create a uniform look.

Use battery powered lights to brighten up those dark corners.

Add a ladder to every closet to ensure top shelves are utilized and accessible.

The Lux Care

For designer or special items that you want to take extra care of we suggest investing here.

Quilted handbag shapers slip into clutches, evening bags, larger bags or totes to prevent creases and wrinkles when stored in your closet. They also allow you to store bags upright, conserving closet space and making them easier to see when stored on a shelf.

Short boot shapers, with their spring-loaded design, automatically provide the right tension for all types and styles of boots. Store your boots on a shelf or use the integrated hook to hang them on a closet rod.

Tall boot shapers, with their spring-loaded design, automatically provide the right tension for all types and styles of boots. Store your boots on a shelf or use the integrated hook to hang them on a closet rod.

The Jewelry Storage

We find that most closets have 2-3 different zones of jewelry (fine jewelry, costume & everyday) so you may notice you need more than one option when it comes to jewelry organization product.

Organize and store away fine jewelry with this lux Jewelry Box.

Organize and display watches, bracelets, bangles and necklaces with these Acrylic Jewelry Stands.

Gold Lacquered Storage Boxes
